My apologies for not giving an update on Spirit Blade: A World Of Shadows in a little while. My hope is to get back on track with providing updates here a little more often, now that the alpha version of Christian Geek Central has launched and this blog is returning somewhat to being a blog about Spirit Blade Productions in general.

As I wrap up my thoughts on E3 2013 I'll focus on what Nintendo brought to the convention (or rather, to the internet just BEFORE the convention) that interested me, some other games that caught my eye and Microsoft's unprecedented post-convention "180" regarding their Xbox One plans, which they announced on Wednesday.

Last week I spent a lot of time online, absorbing as much content from E3 as I could handle. I took in the Xbox One and PS4 Press Conferences, as well as the conferences of Activision and EA Games.
Different things will stand out to different gamers when watching coverage for an event like this. So first a little background on me as a gamer so you can better decide how to interpret my reactions to elements of E3.

I'm a big fan of superhero comics, and especially the DC Universe, home of the world's first and greatest superhero, Superman. So naturally I've been curious, and more recently very excited, to see what "300", "Watchmen", and "Suckerpunch" director Zack Snyder would do with the character.
Having been blown away by all of Snyder's previous live-action film efforts, I waited with hope and anticipation that his signature style would work for "Man Of Steel".

In these verses we see God's first interactions with the nation of Israel as a whole. The first impression he chooses to give them is one filled with awe and terror. Even so, Yahweh's desire is for relationship. He wanted to be near to the people and for them to come near to him. (v. 13) And his compassion and care for them is obvious in his actions. (v. 4)

Although I was originally planning to wait until after E3 to talk about next-gen console news, the controversy surrounding the new Xbox console and their recent press conference were both too tempting to keep me waiting in silence. (Although I'm sure there will be even more to talk about after E3.)

A review of Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic, and my thoughts on the Sony and Microsoft Press conferences as we look forward to E3 in just a couple of weeks. Both companies reveal info about their new consoles... and their philosophical worldviews!
