"Pilgrim" Image And A Trailer In The Works

PilgrimsProgress_Cover_opt1_1

This week I've been working with my tech guys to get the website ready for the release of "Pilgrim's Progress: Similitude Of A Dream". We finally have an image to go along with the project! I've included a small version of it with this post. The full size version will be on the main website soon!

I also hope to finish the trailer today, which is coming along well! My test listeners have been instructed to give me their feedback by this weekend so that I can make a final pass through the project before Monday.

Then I just need to get the files to my tech guys and write up the copy for the website. Once this is done, we'll be all set to go!

  3. Paeter! I just listened to the trailer over at the podcast . . . it sounds absolutely amazing!!!!! I was looking forward to the project before, but after hearing it I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Oh, and is the project going to be available as a CD, mp3, or what?
    I'm excited!

  4. Thanks, Nathan!
Each installment of this series will initially be released as mp3 download only. When the entire series is finished(approx. 3-5 years from now), I plan to collect it as a CD set if I believe there is still a market for that format.

  5. I really like this art! The coloring/lighting of the scene is perfect, and of course you can't go wrong with chainmail! ;) Good old Euro 4-in-1, the default pattern of maillers everywhere. But it's probably rather sad that I actually spent about five minutes looking at it up close, trying to guess what the piece was (way too small to be a shirt, and with that drawstring... vambrace? dice bag?) and what wire gauge and ring size it was done in from the scale of the other objects (could be 16g 1/4", could 14g 3/8"... but wouldn't bet money on either...). Cripes, I'm such a nerd. Also, am I seeing the thing behind the chainmail wrong or are there two helms?

  6. Glad you dig the image! And good question! To be honest, I'm really not sure. At a glance it seems to be another helmet, but I'm not positive.
There's nothing to read too deeply into the photo. It just had the feel I was going for. And Ryan added the warmth and "glow" to the scene and letters to add a touch of "magic" to the overall feel.
